This doctor was clearly in the wrong and very stupid but I totally believe that there is more to this story. Did the "victim" seek care when he got violently ill from the Percocet???? Did he really toss the evidence down the toilet?? Is the bottom line that they tried to get more drugs from this fool of a "doctor" and he wouldn't give them any more? Is extortion at play here? Before giving a voice to this sue happy culture of ours I say that the media should use a little "street smarts" and caution in reporting this type of story. For me it is hard to clearly see exactly who the true "victim" is.
