Interesting to see the political worship in Charlotte.
The sheepkins want to be led by somebody, anyone who can spin the political platitudes, and the delegates are oh-so eager to hear the kind of messages you would read on a Hallmark card.
I am happy to admit that I do not funnel my political ideology through the Republican or Democratic parties. Both of them are made up of insanely ambitious people who, instead of wanting to serve the public good, are determined to feed their insatiable, gargantian egos.
One thing for sure: the delegates are shallow, and judging from their looks and behavior, tacky as well.
