Tedesco campaigns in Wilmington

Wilmington, NC (WWAY) -- Republican Nominee for North Carolina Superintendent of Public Instruction John Tedesco is campaigning in Wilmington.

Wednesday morning he toured Roger Bacon Academy and from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. he'll participate in a town hall meeting with New Hanover County School Board candidates.

Tedesco currently sits on the Wake County School Board; the largest school system in North Carolina and the 16th largest in America.

In an interview with Good Morning Carolina anchor Ashley Jacobs he explains how he plans to eliminate the "one size fits all" mentality commonly found in the current public school system.
