The first amendment was meant to keep the government out of religion, not the other way around. When I go to the polls to vote on a candidate or vote on an issue I vote according to my conscience like everyone else. Atheists do it, agnostics do it, people of other religions do it. But, apparently Christians are to leave their faith at home or in the pew when they vote.
People just don't get it.
