Fourth suspect wanted in Tabor City shooting

READ MORE: Fourth suspect wanted in Tabor City shooting

Tabor City, NC (WWAY) – A month after being shot in the face and neck the health of a Tabor City man has finally stabilized.

After flat lining three times, David Grubbs appears to be on the road to recovery, but things are still far from normal. Family members say they are forced to look over their shoulders and be cautious after receiving threats.

Police have arrested Chris Green, Dustin Stackhouse, and Kendale Harley in connection with the shooting.

Tabor City police have also issued a warrant for the arrest of Craig Eugene Ritter who remains at large.

Police say the suspects shot David Grubbs in the face and neck as he tried to retrieve a cell phone, car keys, and forty dollars that were stolen from his son.
