Coincindentily, I just finished reading "Fatal Vision" by Joe McGuiness.
I don't know whether or not he's guilty. But I do know that both the military, and civilian investigators made many mistakes during the investigation. The crime scene was imeediately compromised.
There was enough reasonable doubt during his trial to drive a truck through. He was granted a new trial once already.
Were it not for his wife's father, this case would have never gone to trial. He spent his life persuing justice for his daughter.
Had the investigation been conducted properly, we wouldn't be here, thirty years later, spending public money to determine his guilt again.
