Were you there when the accident happen? If not how do you know that he vision was blocked by his computer? I don't see anything being report that he was using it. Can they find out if he was? Yes, everything is logged and they can go back and tell if he was. I worked 16 years with a company that provides the software that is used by some agents to Mobile Data. I have been asked numerous times to provide information about a unit’s use that has been involved in some type of accident. To my surprise I have never seen an officer’s accident caused by this in the ones I have had to check.
So if you don't know what you are talking about Shut UP.... I am sure that someone is already looking at the logs to see if he was. Also, in most states these logs are public records so if you don’t believe them you can take a look..
