As a former MCAS New River Marine, I just wanted to say that I think that it is really sad that INDIVIDUALS who engage in this sort of behavior unfortunately tarnish the image of Marines who actually conduct themselves in an honorable manner while stationed in eastern Carolina. I realize that it is VERY easy and/or is human nature to lump all Marines together when one decides to act like a jack*ss as is the case when law enforcement officers misbehave, but please remember that there are REALLY a FEW of us out there who know how to act like human beings. Here's wishing this gentleman BOTH a speedy recovery and JUSTICE in this case!
