Just because a cat is an indoor cat doesn't mean they'll never get out. It happens and it can encounter a dog or another cat who chases it or worse.
Nowadays, you have to call a tree-service to help get the cat down. They may eventually come down, but their claws can't grip well when coming down like they can going up.
Indoor cats get out...
