Even if this effort began under the Bush administration, it doesn't matter - it was still a dumb idea Mr. President and those in your administration started/continued it. Then again, I am still waiting for Gitmo to close, remaining pieces of the Patriot Act to be repealed, and sensible gun control (ie, automatic weapons ban) to be introduced. It's one thing to make the right mad and another to make the left disappointed.
