WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) -- Tattoos led New Hanover County Sheriff's deputies to a man wanted for allegedly breaking through the roof of a convenience store early yesterday morning.

Detectives arrested David Andrew Cox at his home on Shawnee Trail Lane early this morning. Cox was identified through his tattoos. They match the ink on the back of the man seen on surveillance video falling through the roof and ceiling of Monkey Junction Pit Stop at 4902 Carolina Beach Road.

Cox is charged with breaking and entering and possession of burglary tools. He is in jail under a $2,500 secure bond.
