Brilliant. Thanks WDI and Pipeline Event Management for bringing even more competition to the already-struggling, brick-and-mortar restaurants in the downtown area. We begged, practically pleaded, with you to please host this event elsewhere, like Greenfield Lake or Battleship Park. Instead, you've opted to let folks cherry pick our customers right outside our businesses. Sure, most of these entrepreneurs are indeed good folks, but they don't have to pay for the downtown parking, their staff's parking, the premium downtown rents and leases, the downtown membership fees, heck, they don't even have to worry about the disposal of their customer's trash. They come, they cannibalize our business, they leave. Most cities have already addressed this issue by placing restrictions on mobile restaurants, like not allowing a food truck to operate within 300, 400 or even 600 feet from an existing restaurant. Instead, WDI is going to let the food trucks roll right into Riverfront Park, not even a block from several of the cornerstone, downtown restaurants.
