When I come downtown, I have to pay to park my vehicle. I know this before I leave my house. As a tax payer, I do not agree that people, attending this event, should not have to pay. You have informed, those who will attend your function, that this parking lot will be congested and it is up to them to park (and pay) elsewhere if they don't want to wait in line, after the event.
