Man shot to death in his driveway in Lumberton

LUMBERTON, N.C. (AP) - Authorities say a man found shot in his Lumberton driveway by his wife died a short time later at the hospital.

Investigators said 53-year-old Moses Robinson Jr. had just pulled up to his home around 1:30 a.m. Thursday when he was shot.

Police say Robinson's wife heard the gunfire and came out to check on her husband, calling 911 after he told her he had been shot.

Investigators are trying to determine if Robinson was targeted or the shooting was random. No arrests have been made.
