It's an exceptional weapon for stopping thieves, often resulting in the total removal of the hand or forearm if you swing with enough force. During WW II the Gurkhas used to pride themselves on being able to decapitate a Japanese soldier with one swing....and it's only about sixteen inches long!
Keep it on the dashboard and you're Chapter 14 compliant.
If you can't get a CCW permit, I recommend a kukri....
