Call your congressman and other politicians regarding the misappropriation of tax funds. The article clearly states that Mrs. Scott's trip to Africa was funded by donations from the community. I happen to know she is also paying for this trip with her own money, too. Seeing as how little teachers get paid, I think that says a lot about Mrs. Scott's integrity and passion for helping others.
