Ms. Gott knows that as an attorney her duty is to avoid even the appearance of impropriety. Instead, she is digging quite a deep hole for herself because not only is her residency in question, but the presence of her children in New Hanover schools is now called into question. I think she and Ms. Amoroso should realize that this failure to properly vet all issues before stepping into the bright light of public service is nop one's fault but their own. Mr. Barfield happens to be correct on this one.
