My spouse and I agree that New Hanover County doesn't exist for us this weekend...no shopping downtown...no restaurants...no Seafood Festival. Just not worth the hassle of getting over there from Leland and back. If the threat of repeating the traffic nightmare that happened a few weekends ago is keeping our few hundred dollars from being spent in NHC ...we wonder how weekend closings will effect the overall economy.
