BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) -- Four people are behind bars after two people were stabbed Friday night in Brunswick County, including a teenager.
Deputies were dispatched around 10:16 p.m. to 2157 Linda K. TR SW in Supply. When deputies arrived they found two people who had been stabbed. Both victim were taken by ambulance to New Hanover Regional Medical Center for treatment. One of the victims is a 16-year-old. The other victim is Michael Donovan, 22, of Supply.
Investigators say about two hours after the stabbing, a Brunswick County deputy stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation and discovered the three people in the car were persons of interest in the stabbing. They were transported to the Brunswick County Sheriff's Office, where they were questioned and later charged by detectives. Charlie Franklin Guy, 30, is charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill and inflicting serious injury. Billy Kenneth Lotman, 22, and Samantha Kristine Hogan, 18, are charged with felony accessory after the fact.
A Leland Police officer arrested Timothy Patrick Canady on an unrelated warrant at approximately 10:22 p.m. during a traffic stop. The investigation later revealed that Canady, who was already in custody, was a fourth suspect in the stabbing. He is also charged with felony accessory after the fact.
All four suspects are in jail under $150,000 bond.
