Brunswick Co. Health Department to offer flu vaccines to early voters Thursday

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) -- The Brunswick County Health Department will offer flu shots at three locations Thursday on the first day of early voting. This is the only day that is scheduled. It's part of a statewide effort called Vote and Vax.

Public health nurses will be at the Armory in Shallotte, North Brunswick High School in Leland and the Senior Site in Southport. Please bring your insurance card and driver license. The shots will be available from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.

The cost of the shots range from $38 for regular flu to $56 for the high dose for seniors.
