A questionable merger before and after and one of the first friggin things they want is a rate hike? I thought the merger would save money by consolidation, natural gas prices, the stability of nuclear fuel prices and so on. 14+ percent at one time is a travesty. If the Utility Commission allows this they all need to be lined up in front of a firing squad. The SEC needs to look into this also. The monopoly of one utility is taking over already. This will more than likely add 30-50 dollars a month to an average bill. Enough of the BS and the manipulation of everyday energy needs. This includes the gasoline we are being gouged for as well as heating oil. Again, ENOUGH!!!!!!
