we taxpayers are paying for. I'm betting if you asked County staff, they'd recommend hiring a consultant to come up with ideas of how to use inmate labor...at a cost of $50k for the consultant. Or...why not take a look at work currently being done by outside contractors and determine whether inmate labor could be used.
