Thanks to the WPD for stepping up efforts to catch drivers flying through crosswalks. I work at PPD and not a day goes by when I don't have a close call with a CFCC student flying down Front Street at 30 or 40 MPH and coming within inches of hitting me and other employees. They act like they either don't even see us or couldn't care less that someone is crossing the road, as long as they don't have to slow down.
