Misinformed?

I don't know where you get your information, but we could get a lot more than "just a drop"---- The following text is an excerpt from the National Weather Service in Wilmington's forecast discussion."AS SANDY MOVES NORTH TOWARD THE OFF SHORE WATERS OFF THE COAST OF
THE CAROLINAS THROUGH SATURDAY...THE WINDS WILL INCREASE AS THEY
SHIFT FROM THE E-NE SAT MORNING TOWARD THE N-NE BY LATE AFTN. GFS
SHOWING 850 TO 700 MB WINDS 30 TO 40 KTS ALONG THE COAST AND IN OUR
LOCAL WATERS AND RAMPING UP TO 45 KTS BY AFTN AND EXTENDING INLAND
UP TO 50 MILES OR SO. EXPECT THESE GUSTY WINDS TO TRANSLATE DOWNWARD
IN SHOWERS THROUGH THE DAY ON SATURDAY. THEREFORE EXPECT
CLOUDY...WINDY AND SHOWERY WEATHER THROUGH THE DAY ON SATURDAY. AS
FOR QPF...HAVE INCREASED AMOUNTS BUT EXPECT WE COULD SEE UPWARDS OF
2 INCHES IN PLACES ALONG THE COAST ON SAT. PCP WATER VALUES INCREASE
UP CLOSER TO 2 INCHES EARLY SAT BUT THERE REMAINS A VERY SHARP
GRADIENT AS YOU MOVE INLAND DROPPING OFF TO LESS THAN AN INCH TOWARD
WESTERN CAROLINAS." So yes, WWAY is right in telling people to be aware and prepared.
