Our area has had a huge influx of new people that have no idea what damages the storms can do even with they are not a direct hit. So I agree: if you weren't here and had to deal with the aftermath of the Bertha and then Fran within 2 months and then within 3 years deal with Floyd, be quiet and take all the advice and warnings they can issue and provide. We've been through it - we still heed the warnings and be prepared......
