It's interesting that the folks who stand to make a killing on this forked over the most money. Still, it's pretty chintzy of the billionaires from Mandalay and the Braves to only come up a combined $25k. I guess they don't want to waste their money on a lost cause. No doubt, they're already eyeing their next "perfect town" to try to con into building them a ballpark.
I have no issue with AFP buying signs and ad time for Mr. Harry and the No Tax group. How else would someone like him manage to fight the combined resources of Atlanta, Mandalay, whatever Sawmill Point is, and even our own Chamber of Commerce.
