I'm a Republican voter. But I voted for Mike McIntire because he continues to serve the voters of southeastern North Carolina, regardless of how far to the left the Democrats shift.
He proved it when he was on of 13 Democrats who voted no for Obamacare. He did that because his constituents were against it.
He's a politician who represents those who voted him into office, not the special interests or the interests of the political party, and that's rare in this day and time.
