For decades, the sad tree has been dying at the hands of abuse. Most recently, the water plant dug a deep hole right next to the trunk, obviously disrupting root growth patterns. I understand the sentiment, but c'mon, it's an embarrassing eye sore; it's not accessible or visible. It's time to move on. 4th street used to be a viable corridor fully decked in holiday splendor. Now, the pavement is all but gone and the neighborhood in serious decline. Traditions come and go. It's time to move on.(Signed a 48 year resident)
