The fountain isn't the real issue. The issue happens to be the drunks that keep hitting it. Unfortunately WPD has a pretty large DWI count for the streets of Wilmington, which actually is a larger issue than the fountain. This fountain just helps grab a few from time to time to help them out. Infact the last damages were from a drunk if I'm not mistaken. If anything needs to be helped it would be extra help to keep the drunks off the roads. Our LEO have their hands full. Our state statistics show it.
