Let's hope it goes both ways - if the officer knows they are being filmed they are more likely to follow procedure. I wouldn't say this about most departments and I respect LEO as a whole, however there are a few at WBPD that need eyes on them at all times. MANY cases where the dashcam tapes went missing or simply never existed to begin with because the camera was manually shut down. In court they tell the judge that the camera was out for repair. Two have been caught lying in court...repeatedly...to the point that the DA's office won't take them at their word.

I'm not a hater. Most are stand up men and women doing their job respectfully. And I thank them for that! And House is on of those stand up guys working hard to push those bad apples out. Good move and money well spent. Kudos to you Chief!
