I'm surprised at all of the comments supporting this petition to secede from the "Union". Obviously, people are disappointed with the election outcome, as well as concerned about the future. However, has anyone who supports the secession stopped to think about all of the federal funds that states receive? You can also say goodbye to military bases and all of the civilian jobs that go along with those. We all complain about how "big" government has gotten, but haven't we, as a whole, allowed this to happen by voting people into office over and over again that continue to vote on legislation in ways that we do not agree with? Pay attention and make your votes count people.
