Since Wrightsville Beach is really the only beach close enough for the people of Wilmington to go to, I think that the town should consider bus stops, bus parking and perhaps even a bus lane.

I believe that Wave Transit needs to add regular bus routes from downtown Wilmington to Wrightsville Beach at least hourly in the summer. Not all the folks downtown have cars, so this would be a good way to give them access to one of the most exclusive beaches in New Hanover County. Here's an opportunity that the residents of Wrightsville Beach should embrace. Frankly, it would put an end to all the talk that the smoking ban was a thinly disguised measure to exclude a certain demographic.
