How do you know the student isn't guilty? I'm a student at Hoggard and if you knew the first thing about her, you'd know she is absolutely notorious for telling absurd lies. For example, she has spread word SEVERAL times that she was pregnant and also claimed she had cancer at one point. I am a credible speaker seeing as her and I were best friends my freshman year. She's been this way since I've known her. I'm not choosing sides at all and still find the situation to be a questionable, but don't assume the "innocent daughter" is innocent.
