'Safe Haven' release moved to Valentine's Day

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) -- A movie shot in our area last summer could be the perfect part of your Valentine's Day plans.

Several entertainment websites report the release date for "Safe Haven" has been pushed back a few days to February 14 to cash in on the romantic holiday.

The movie, based on a book by Nicholas Sparks and starring Julianne Hough and Josh Duhamel, shot in and around Southport and Wilmington earlier this year.
