I think everyone should watch "Project X" and learn a little something about civil rights. Scene: The cops show up, you go outside (closing the front door behind you), and say, "Hi Mr. Police Officer....etc"
And when he ask you if he can enter your house and look around, you say (politely), no....

(Cops are like vampires, if you don't give them permission to enter, they can't...umm..unless they have a warrant or there are exigent circumstances)
