I dealth with many situations like this during my career as an ALE agent. If you handle the situation professionally as an officer you will come out on top. Its underage drinking and noice violations at the most. Handle the situation for what it is. You are not there trying to apprehend a fugitive or serve a high risk warrant. It is not a search warrant on a drug house. These kids will always give you some lip. If you can not handle some verbal abuse as an officer you are in the wrong profession. So do not try and tell me I am wrong on this. I made plenty of arrests in this same type of situation and never had a complaint filed against me.
