Little change as recount continues in McIntyre-Rouzer race

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) -- The recount continues in the Congressional race between Rep. Mike Mcintyre and David Rouzer.

Bladen County's recount shows the eight-time incumbent McIntyre losing two votes and Rouzer, a state senator from Johnston County, losing four.

Lenoir county has Mcintyre picking up a net of three votes.

In Robeson County the recount has McIntyre losing six with Rouzer adding one.

Cumberland and Pender counties saw no change. The recount continues in other counties in the district.

Rouzer called for a recount last week after a vote canvass showed him trailing McIntyre by just 655 votes, which is less than one percent of the votes cast in the contest.
