I agree that vehicles should be taken from convicted repeat offenders of dui,in fact former governor Hunt had that passed into law during the 1980's,the problem is not more laws but the lack of using the existing laws,unfortunately in Brunswick county,the courts are a revolving door for criminals.The solution is already in our grasp,use the closed down military bases for prisons,as they are similarly equipped with guard towers,and fence lines. Vehicles can be siezed and sold at public auction for second and third offenses,and the prison terms regardless of loss of life can escalate in length of time for each offence following the first conviction.South America does'nt play around for drunk driving repeat offenders,they use the death penalty.
