Being a rather spunky 16 year old at the time, if my parent had beat me, I would have made him pay 10 fold and was quite capable of accomplishing this. Beat a 16 year old? Wow...a dark age transport? I always responded to the positive, something I rarely got a glimpse of. If she were my child, I would do everything possible to save her from dependency and negativity. Treatment and counseling to start with. And no, I'm not a liberal, nor do I use drugs or abuse alcohol...today.
