He is a phone operator who was driving too fast. Who would cover it up and why??? He doesn't drive for a living, and he wasn't committing a felony. Get real, it's not even a decent story. He shouldn't lose his job, he shouldn't even be punished at work for this. Stupid mistake, pay the fine, raise insurance rates and life moves on.
