I imagine that many who signed the petition weren't even alive when this happened. They just know that their black brothers are innocent and want them pardoned.

Explain that to the store owners that lost their businesses from the fires they set. Explain that to the people that were injured.

You can't go back and re-write history to make it politically correct.
