The article says the truck passed the school bus in a passing zone. The school bus was not stopped for a pick-up or at all. It was moving. This makes it a legal movement to pass the bus. Was it wise? I can't answer that but it brings up another question. Why are there school buses on the road at 6:00 a.m. and at 6:00 p.m.? School board members who approve waivers for schools to start at 7:40 and dismiss when they get good and ready, should step up to take some responsibility for this traffic death.
