CAROLINA BEACH, NC (WWAY) -- This week's Teacher of the Week is nearing retirement for the second time.

Before diving into life as a second grade teacher, he spent more than 20 years in the military.

Good Morning Carolina anchor Ashley Jacobs met Charles Gore at Carolina Beach Elementary School.
