This is a very tragic event. There's nothing even remotely funny about the event or the circumstances. So if this is the type of event you find "hilarious", you have a very sick way of getting your jollies.
Having someone to forcefully break into your home while you're asleep is tough enough to deal with. To find that you've killed your brother in trying to protect your home and family has to be no less than devasatating.
