Middle America tax rates, for those who work and do not live on the government taxpayer nickel, were still going up. And I am not referring to Social Security retirement benefits when I refer to living on the taxpayers' nickel.
There were no significant spending cuts.
McIntyre had to vote yea or nay on a bill which he had no hand in writing.
Personally, I think he made the right choice given the circumstances.
