I played high school football and lacrosse as well as wrestled for 3 years on varsity.
IN addition to buying accident insurance for each sport, we paid a per sport fee with the exception of wrestling.
Of course I'm showing my age; but there were never any issues surrounding education funding or borrowing to keep the Department of Education afloat during my younger years.
Of course too it helped that we knew whom our parents were and discipline for school began at home.
We never had any violence; and we never needed police resource officers.
