Well I can certainly understand the money issues. However, what you may not know is that almost all the the Varsity Lacrosse money source comes from outside of the school Budget. Parents, boosters, donors, area business sponsors and fund raising. Coaches have even purchased equipment for the kids. The support from the community is there. 3 years ago the High Schools in New Hanover were already implementing a JV lacrosse program on there own. Then all of sudden is just stopped. No money for that program came out of a school budget. The kids paid to play. Why did it just stop. Or a better question is who stopped it.
