It is socially unacceptable to call such incidents "hate crimes." The black community historically cannot handle the reality of this ... not only will they play the race card on this one, but likely will incide riots and put even more lives in danger. The criminals have already admitted that they singled out the victim based on his race and their pre-conceived stereotypes of that race. Clearly this was a hate crime, and we all know that. But the black community cannot handle such situations, when the shoe is on the other foot. It is easier for one to bury one's head in the sand than to face reality.
