Please note that it reads "former" trooper. He obviously has had questionable behavior in the past that has given him the title of "former trooper." Be rest assured, NCSHP or any other law enforcement agency is not protected under any "good ole boy" claus or deal. In fact, they will be under intense scrutiny and heavier penalties that the average individual charged with a crime because of the position they hold or have held.
