I was on the North End of Carolina Beach on Wensday, Noticing birds/Pelicans, and bluefish , AND What I'm sure appeared to be several Large Bluefin Tuna(s)Jumping & cutting through these Huge schools of baitfish.. About 200 yards off the beach..
Thats what "drove" these fish into the area(s), depleting oxygen Levels..
I was surprised to see TUNA this close inshore!
(I'm a King Fisherman, so I know My fish ID(s)...)
Some charter boat Captain(s) just Might behove themselves to get "outside" the MasonBoro/Carolina beach Inlet(s) to catch a Fish of a Lifetime..
Provided you have the required Fed Tag of course.
On the "otherhand", If I was a "commerical crabber", w/a big freezer, theres planty of FREE crab bait to be had for next year...
